Kelsey grew up in Fargo, ND. She went to Fargo South High School and then continued on to Waldorf University to study Psychology and Criminal Justice. In 2018, Kelsey began working for a local debt collection law firm as a legal account assistant. She joined Ficek Law Office in March of 2022 as a Paralegal and Office Manager.
Kelsey has a personal history advocating for those with disabling conditions. Her son, Dawson, was born with severe congenital heart defect(s) requiring multiple open-heart surgeries early on in life, and continuing treatment at Mayo Clinic. Her years of experience advocating for her own family gives her the ability to empathize with clients and be persistent in her pursuit to obtain records and organize case information for the best possible results.
Kelsey enjoys spending her free time with her son and friends. She might look like she belongs at a Taylor Swift concert, but you’d be more likely to find her front row at a rock concert instead. She also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and traveling the country for occasional paranormal investigations.

Jaden joined Ficek Law in June of 2023 as a paralegal. She was born and raised in Aberdeen, SD, and is currently attending Northern State University and will graduate this May with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Jaden is compassionate and enjoys helping clients navigate the complex Social Security process. In her spare time, Jaden enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her recently adopted cats Nate and Butters. She also enjoys reading, video games, traveling, and archery.
